Birgit Pohl makes wheel-thrown and hand decorated porcelain pots.
Her work explores the balance between precision of form and fluidity in surface decoration.
She creates pieces that are pleasing to hold and that invite speculation about the stories behind the designs.
Birgit studied at Clay College, Stoke-on-Trent. Her work has been exhibited at various locations, including Craft Festival Bovey Tracey, Potfest Hutton-in-the-Forest and the British Ceramics Biennial.

She is a Selected Member of the Craft Potters Association, Design Nation and Find a Maker.
